Our History
Where we came from
Building the Industry's First BPM Platform
Core members of the Innoblocs team were among the pioneering engineers who designed and built the Ultimus BPM Suite — one of the industry's first Business Process Management platforms — from scratch. The product reached 2,300 installations across 20 countries, running in 16 languages from a single codebase. The team took it through seven generations of development, maintaining it with rigorous release management across numerous cumulative patches and three service packs. It was a masterclass in building enterprise software that scales globally.
AI, Knowledge Graphs & Enterprise SaaS
The team moved into cloud-native SaaS and artificial intelligence — building Discourse Analytics, a cloud-based cognitive platform that uses self-learning AI engines and knowledge graphs to understand population behaviour and deliver personalised nudges. The platform was deployed across education, healthcare, and financial services verticals, working with 30+ enterprise clients and processing years of historical structured and unstructured data to surface patterns and predictive models.
Fintech, EdTech & the Modern Innoblocs
Innoblocs was formally established to bring this depth of experience to a broader market. Our first major engagement — the Azampay payments platform for a major East African conglomerate — was a failing project that we turned into a thriving payment gateway, digital wallet, and high-volume e-commerce operation. In parallel, we built deep EdTech expertise integrating with Canvas LMS, D2L, Blackboard, and Salesforce Education Cloud for clients across the United States. Today Innoblocs operates as a full-service software engineering partner — with the senior depth to build what others can't.

PMP and ITIL V3 foundation certified with 20 years of international delivery experience. Has conducted client training and delivered projects across the USA, Mexico, Panama, Brazil, Japan, UAE, Singapore, and Pakistan. Deep expertise in Agile, CMMI, and business process management.
Anis Ahmed
Senior Engineer
18 years in software development with deep expertise in enterprise integrations across Dynamics 365, LMS platforms, and SIS systems. Frontend expertise in Angular, React, and Flutter. Currently working with generative AI frameworks including OpenAI and Gemini.
